Terms for the hosted design service.

1. The agreement

These terms form an agreement between CodeCrafted Ltd, company number 17265819, and the person or organisation creating an account. The service is offered only for business or professional use. You confirm that you are at least 18 and have authority to bind the organisation you represent.

2. The service

CodeCrafted Design provides an MCP endpoint, design catalogues, project records, component guidance, token exports and evidence-based implementation review. The service is free during its public launch and registration is open to everyone. No payment details are required. Future paid features will not be applied to an existing account without prior notice and a clear opportunity to accept or stop using them.

3. Accounts and credentials

You must give accurate account information, keep passwords, API keys and OAuth connections secure, and promptly revoke a credential you believe is exposed. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials until you notify us or revoke them. Credentials must not be embedded in public client-side code or shared between unrelated organisations.

4. Your material

You retain rights in briefs, project information, evidence and feedback you submit. You grant CodeCrafted a limited licence to host, process, reproduce and transmit that material only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit it. Do not submit secrets, unnecessary personal data or unlawful material.

5. CodeCrafted material and output

CodeCrafted retains rights in the platform, catalogues, selection methods, documentation and branding. Subject to these terms, you may use plans, selected tokens and project-specific output returned to your account to design and build your own or your clients' products. You may not copy or reconstruct the underlying catalogue for redistribution, resale or operation of a competing catalogue service.

6. External component sources

If you ask the service to inspect a Storybook or shadcn registry URL, you instruct it to retrieve that public resource. You are responsible for the source's terms, availability and the rights to use any referenced component. CodeCrafted does not install third-party code and does not warrant an external source.

7. Decision support, not certification

Outputs are design decision support. They do not certify accessibility, legal, privacy, security, performance or regulatory compliance and do not replace browser testing, assistive-technology testing, user research or professional advice. Implementation review assesses evidence supplied by the caller unless a tool expressly states that it retrieved a public component source.

8. Fair use and acceptable use

You must follow the acceptable use policy. We may apply documented rate, storage and security limits; investigate suspected misuse; and temporarily restrict activity necessary to protect the service or another account.

9. Availability and launch changes

The free launch service is provided without a service-level commitment. We may maintain, change or withdraw functionality. We will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes, except where immediate action is needed for security, law or service integrity.

10. Suspension and ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and request account closure at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or persistent fair-use violations. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to correct or appeal it. Sections intended to protect existing rights, including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability, continue after termination.

11. Warranties and liability

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Because it is a free launch service, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every recommendation will suit a particular project. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the previous sentence, CodeCrafted is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, goodwill or data. CodeCrafted's total liability arising from the free launch service is limited to GBP 100. These limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.
